I have those, which is a good first step. I know a few other words and phrases like "E kaga deska?" and responses to it. But when written, well, I am completely lost.

You are welcome, David.

Konnich of Konnichiwa means today and wa indicates question.
So, its original meaning was How are you today? but is used as simply Hello.

Test flight has been taken place at JMSDF Kanoya in Kagoshima prefecture today.
I heard a former ANA (All Nippon Airways) pilot would fly it in the future when he has obtained FAA license in the U.S.
