Was looking through a book catalog last week and saw this interesting new offering for $22. Then I looked on ebay and found an excellent used copy for $11, including shipping.

Resting comfortably on my desk, thank you.
And relative to the P-38 drop tanks dust-up, it has a picture of a P-38G of the 82nd Ftr Grp destroyed in a German bombing attack, with the note that P-38 losses led to the USAAF stripping pilots and P-38's from the 78th Ftr Grp in England to make up for the losses.

I am going to print up some of those "Withdrawn from" stickers for my own use using my Brother Labelmaker.

Then you should go to this site -- what AL number is your manual? Mine is AL 6 (inside back cover)

Cheers for that mate! Mine is signed off as AL.1,2 and 3.

Brilliant, cheers mate. Yeah, those pilot's notes Paul posted are the ones I got - alot slimmer than your AL 6 notes!

I think that I bought this book around the time of Martin Luther, and when he posted his ninety-five theses on the local social network....
