I have never even heard of this magazine. I will obviously have to search for it.
It's difficult to find.I have never even heard of this magazine. I will obviously have to search for it.
Yes. very difficult to find. Pricy as well. Those two I purchased were only $20 each from a hobby shop in Illinois that only sells online now.Thank you
Looks like no new editions for almost 4 years and a very limited number of back issues.

No. I thought that was pretty good. The specials I have seen available are $40 to $60 USD. These other ones were a little bit more.New price for a rare magazine is not bad really.

You can always send them recommendations on the drawings. I am sure they welcome any comment they can get.I love the drawing itself but the captions are appalling. For examples using the Ki-51 drawing:
- Magnetos are a part of the engine - not in the wing outboard of the landing gear and behind the spar
- The ammunition link ejection chute is actually close to the spent brass chute on all aircraft - not some 60 cm/2 ft away
- why does only the tailplane have dimensions?
Great score YvesStill warm (from the sun on my porch, where I found it):

I'm following this book since years - its price skyrocketed lately and it was just waiting in my wish-list on Amazon. A week ago there was a suggestion for an used one for $22 (CAD). I immediately embraced the possibility - used or not, it's the same book. In fact I received a brand new one (or not used at all).
This is the 2002 edition, printed in....Canada! Of course, we have trees to sell lumber to the whole world, but we mostly use them for pulp.

Larger than usual print, easily readable, short chapters, many pictures - I think I'll finish it in a week (if I read every day). Probably 20-25% of the photos are new for me, but they do not show "Mitchells" only. Found the story of "Fat Cat" (we discussed this a/c earlier). As per author the plane was built using parts from 3 different B-25. This compliments the information that "Fat Cat" was a battle plane once but has been retired as a hack (or fat cat). Again as per author this was the only stripped down B-25 in the SWPA. Yep, we all know that's not true but for his time in the Pacific that probably was the case.

Paul (Micdraw) told me once it is a good read and I truly believe what he says.
