And I thought it was a John Hancock? How ever could I be wrong? Want to sign mine also?

Just picked this up from Thrift books for $6.50. I bought it as it has photos (all color) of the Spitfire I'm doing for the Spitfire group build. The first chapter is MTO and most of the photos are from Lt. William Skinner with several of his bird Spitfire Mk. VIII Lonesome Polecat!

I'm reading it now. It's got me wondering if there are enough plans and schematics to actually build a 1938 P-509 with the appropriate V-1710.

Just got this one and am not impressed that some mothers little darling "improved" it. I hope I can make the improved" pages readable.

That's not so good, is it lead pencil or a black coloured pencil.

Lead pencil I think so I will have to purchase a suitable eraser next week in Bundy - if such things are even made any more.

Thanks for the offer but it seems that they are still available locally - according to the Officeworks web site they have a wide selection though I will check out the two art supply shops first and take a couple of sample pages so they can make an informed recommendation and probably end up getting several different ones.

That's OK. At least I'll know who to come to should I run short.
