Nice Evan...

Cheers Wayne. I have their whole set on Aircraft modelling already, excellent books. Might try to get the set of armour modelling ones too at some stage.

[Wayne Little]

I must say Evan doing the odd tank is good and different from aircraft, have done a few in 1/48 over recent years, with a T-34/75 and T-34/85 on the go at the moment inbetween other stuff...

[A4K]

Good stuff Wayne. I enjoy them too (used to do alot of armour in 1:76, 1:72 and 1:35 in the '80s).
Recently enjoyed helping the kids with various 1:72 and 1:76 tanks, with a whole bunch of Stuarts lined up for myself...

Here is a link to a book I WISH was in my library tho it was probably way outside of my price range.

Secret RAF Bomber Command Targets Manual (1939)

Ultra rare, Secret WW2 RAF Bomber Command Bomb Targets handbook, dated 1939 | With operational numbers, location details, and Air Ministry codes for virtually every military and industrial target in Germany | Includes the Mohne, Eder, and Sorpe Dams, made famous in the Dambuster Raids of 1943 |...

That book shop has some good stuff but most prices are way too high for a retired person.

Only 6 quid, so....

Now I just need to try and remember the book, using this artwork for cover....

My son's girlfriend (Lnari) came over to vised him from Helsinki and she thought it would be nice to bring little gifts for each of us. She stopped at a model shop and engaged a hobbiest whom gave her this as I must have it. I can't read it but it's FREAKING COOL. Finnish AF WWII. Aces, aircraft, yeah I can read Brewster F2A-1 and Messerschmitt 109G-2 and the likes but nothing else save all the pictures.....
I can read pictures mommy...

Osprey Modelling #15: Modelling the P-40 (Hawk 81, Tomahawk, Warhawk and Kittyhawk) by Brett Green

Picked up these two recently. One of my uncles flew in the 165th Liaison, with the 1st Air Commandos during most of his AAF time, hence that book. The P-61 has always been of interest to me, so the other.

Lucky: There are a couple of different books on the 1st, so it might be a larger expense than you think!
