Last night I finished painting the floatplane. It's Cub Yellow with a little
black trim. All the spars (wing and float) are silver. The engine is black
with silver cylinder heads. I've mis-placed (read: lost) the plastic
for the windshield, altho I still have the pattern.
Oh.... I got a Piper prop.... black with yellow tips.
Here are a couple more. The first pic is actually under (rubber) power,
it does taxi (away from me). I still have to put FCC numbers on it,
and outline the doors, flaps, etc. And, of course, the windshield....
Oh...evangilder...... no spot..... I cleaned the lens
Bad news, guys. Major damage to the floatplane, tonight. I was striping
and it slipped from my hand, and I grabbed...... Almost broke the fuselage
in half !! I broke five fore and aft stringers, put two holes in the wings, too.
Fortunately, it's not "strike" damage. I've started to repair it and in time
it will be almost as good as new. I've attached some pic's. Bummer....
