Fully agree, they act like AI is the best invention since bread and butter. Anthropic's CEO, openly discussing which jobs will be made obsolete first is just disgusting. As if that's a positive thing.They are pushing AI way too hard. It's a technology that certainly has some benefits, but being applied to everything in society from internet animation to combat vehicles is a bit much.
It sort of reminds me of how they were going to use atomic power for everything, from powering aircraft and automobiles to having mini-reactors in the basement of each home. They even had a science lab for kids, called the "Gilbert U-238 Atomic Energy Lab".
