They are pushing AI way too hard. It's a technology that certainly has some benefits, but being applied to everything in society from internet animation to combat vehicles is a bit much.

It sort of reminds me of how they were going to use atomic power for everything, from powering aircraft and automobiles to having mini-reactors in the basement of each home. They even had a science lab for kids, called the "Gilbert U-238 Atomic Energy Lab".

Fully agree, they act like AI is the best invention since bread and butter. Anthropic's CEO, openly discussing which jobs will be made obsolete first is just disgusting. As if that's a positive thing.

Apparently everybody should be able to do anything regardless of talent, albeit while offloading the work to an AI model.

Disclaimer, I already had a side task as AI engineer, back in 2016 and have trained DeepLearning models for all kinds of analysis back in the day.

Here's a taster: "Seventy years. Against all logic, one aircraft has defied time, technological revolution, and the fall of empires: the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress.

It has outlived every bomber designed to replace it, and now, it's preparing to celebrate its 100th birthday in service. This isn't just history; it's a profound story of mechanical immortality, human resolve, and strategic genius.

If you want to know what it feels like to hold the future of the world in your hands, prepare to go inside the cockpit of the ultimate warhorse.

What You Will Uncover Inside This Definitive History:
GOOSEBUMPS OF HISTORY: The Immortal BUFF is the definitive, comprehensive account of the bomber's life, from its urgent inception to its projected role in the mid-21st century."

It's 81 pages in paperback, so unlikely to trouble descriptions such as "exhaustive" or "well researched" then.

And that's what it's about in a nutshell - business owners not having to pay for staff.
