Over the past couple of years; I have come to realize that there is far more crap than substance on utube; xwitter; ticktack; etc. Now, I have my subscription youtube contributors and I watch that or a movie. If you find yourself doom clicking, just do something more productive. Smart people have been working for years to separate you from your time to sell ad time for pennies.

Can we declare a remove AI rubbish books War?
I did what you suggested and wrote to:
1. [email protected] - 2 days later I received an answer from a real support-guy with name etc., that they couldn't find my email as an Amazon-user. BS and BS again! Yes. I'm using a different email for amazon or ebay or whatever orders but this is my own business! O.K., no feelings, just business: I copied the same text and sent it to Jeff again, this time from my amazon-accepted emaiI. Hope they will answer.
2. Since I didn't buy any of those pseudo-books, I cannot write a review. I used the button "Report an issue with this product" below the book description. When they asked "what's wrong", I choose from the drop-down menu: The product or contents is offensive. Next question: Why is offensive. Choises are: Sexually explicit content and Other. I have chosen the latter and wrote something similar to what we've been discussing here. Books are still there so I believe nobody paid attention to my messages.
I'm in a "waiting mode" for now.

And here's the answer I received less than 12 hours after re-sending my email to jeff@amazon:
Your report about the AI-generated texts was escalated to our department.

I would like to apologize for all the inconvenience that this issue might caused to you.

Please note that I have escalated your concern with the appropriate parties for an investigation to determine the best course of action.

We sincerely appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as customer feedback helps us continuously evaluate and improve our policies.
I think if anybody else wants to try, the answer will be similar. And I didn't just write about AI-generated texts: I called them "an abomination", "fake", "bad example", "an insult to all aviation fans" etc.
P.S. And I wrote a review about the B-25 book - thank you, Sabrejet!

And this has to be some kind of milestone: I've never seen a spelling mistake on a book cover (!) before...

Yet again, a quick look at the sample text on Amazon (click "read sample") shows that these are again full of waffle and lacking in specifics. I'm not sure these are AI-generated but it does feel like the whole thing is a sausage machine, churning out ever more of the same stuff.

I suggested those texts are AI-generated based on my own experience: asking ChatGTP and Claude for a specific info on PBM Mariner resp. PBY Catalina (specific like serial numbers. assignments, squadrons, naval bases etc.) I was receiving also useless stuff with descriptions taken from (I was thinking) Wiki, but the chatbots told me the info is from different "articles". Tried to check some of them, answer was they cannot give me a link, they "see" it in a different way. etc. I guess all these bots collect info from wherever they can and put it "nicely" together. There were so many mistakes (esp. serials, type of plane - flying boat or amphibious, squadrons etc.), it was useless. When I was correcting the bots with my own data I was asked, where do I have it from. Giving the name of the source (mostly books)the AI answered: "Oh, that's a credible source. You are right! I apologize for the mistake". And this with almost every question. So imagine there is no control - we get the "every a-hole is". Maybe it's not like that, who knows, but we see what we've been offered.
And here's what ChatGPT drew for me to illustrate a MADD Cat (the stick in the axx of the plane is the MADD-boom in the AI-imagination). It had to be a Cat, but it is not! (still much better than the every a-hole cover for his PBY-book.)
