This is a good read, written by a former Australian ambassador to Russia (he probably knows of what he speaks!):

Interview with ukrainian Defense Intelligence Directorate (GUR), Maj. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov.

He says that they know about Prig move in advance... by humint.

Could be or just a kick to stir the paranoid bees nest. What do you think guys?

This according to a Russian source, of course. The question is, was he released next to a high rise window?

In that first photo Zaluzhny looks exhausted. With the weight of the West's unrealistic expectations combined with keeping up the offence and the welfare of his troops, it must be physically and mentally exhausting. I wanted to reach through the screen and hug the man.

The West needs to give this man everything he asks for. ATACAMS should have been provided months ago. Did we really ever think Zaluzhny was going to use them outside of Ukraine? The Ukrainians have earned our trust. Give them everything they want.

And what does Ukraine need or want immediately? Big ticket Abrams and Vipers are 2024 things, but what about right now? More artillery shells and guided rockets, plus spare barrels, more small arms? De-mining, breakthrough equipment? More Leopard 2 tanks?

In my 52 years I've seen the population of my country, Canada nearly double from 21 to now 40 million. I honestly don't know what all these newcomers (it's mostly immigration, almost exclusively from Asia) will be doing, but I'd rather have a growing than declining population like Russia or China.
