Can we get together and finance our own AVG? There's folks out there what already got F-16s. We'd also need a mercenary SeaBee brigade to surreptitiously transform some innocuous roads into airstrips.Could Putin face another mutiny from his mercenaries? Wagner was just one of the pay-to-kill groups fighting for Russia
Vladimir Putin's darkest battles are being carried out by a number of private armies run by Russia's elite, but after an attempted uprising, the Russian president is facing the reality they could turn on him.www.abc.net.au
This was first reported/seen a few months back:Leopard 2 with Kontakt ERA:
Ukrainian Leopard 2 Tank Seen Covered In Explosive Reactive Armor
Seeing explosive reactive armor that traces its roots to the Soviet era on a Leopard 2 main battle tank is certainly different.www.thedrive.com
I wonder how many washing machines had to be looted for each fire control system?
Soviet planes launching NATO munitions. NATO armor using Russian ERA. Adapt or die.
I'm sure it will be an effective weapon system .... in the hands of the AFU, since they will (inevitably) capture a bunch of themI wonder how many washing machines had to be looted for each fire control system?
Given what we've seen so far re Russian training / equipment functionality they will probably be moreWhirlpool stock is up a small amount, Maytag a little more?
No, as we have already seen, several EU based manufacturers are already teaming up with Ukraine.The risk will be if the countries that have supported Ukraine during the war vanish once the war is won but the post war rebuild is still required. This is still quite a risk IMHO and one that I wouldn't be surprised to see China aim to stop in to fill the gap and thus gain further influence. Hence a reason to keep the support going post war.
Today's claims (looks like there was plenty of activity yesterday)This are Ukranian claims, so probably real numbers are less, but probably the proportions hold. We already discussed some time ago about the specific targeting of Russian artillery, but it seems that since the start of offensive action the destruction of Russian artillery has intensified. Most probably they are forced to reveal position while trying to stop Ukranian advances.
This are today's numbers reporting yesterday actions.
+530 men
+1 tank
+5 APVs
+35 (!) artillery pieces <======
+2 MLRS
+26 UAVs
- Zelensky sharing a coffee with soldiers (can you think of Putin doing the same?)
