The cynic in me says that all French Tanks are light tanks. Certainly anything up to and including the AMX30.
These are the armoured vehicles (loosely referred to as tanks by some in the media) supplied or promised by France:
  • AMX-10 RC - already seen action and only 10 supplied to date. These might be those referred to as "light tanks"
  • ACMAT Bastion - 20 were promised but they were decided to not be suitable and thus didn't actually make it to Ukraine
  • CAESAR Wheeled SPHs = hardly tanks
  • VABs - again, hardly tanks

But Sth Korea is still to do anything

If the US pulls aid from Ukraine completely and also pulls out of NATO, both of which are on the cards, then you will see not only Ukraine struggle and probably eventually fall but European countries will have to prioritise their own defences. I am not happy with the prospect of this but am also a realist.

Support for Ukraine may well be ended, but I don't think we will pull out of NATO.

Several nations have suggested sending troops and now South Korea is in the picture.

The world actually does not revolve around the U.S - this situation is far from over and I fully beleive that Putler will not like the outcome.

If the US does either -- let alone both -- its government will signal both weakness and untrustworthiness. Part of the art of a deal is not reneging on obligations.

And exactly what light tanks might those be?
''...18 AMX 10 light tanks, 18 truck-mounted Caesar artillery pieces, 128 armored troop carriers, as well as anti-tank and antiaircraft missile systems, according to the French military. France often refers to the AMX-10 as a light tank, but it is widely seen as an armored combat and reconnaissance vehicle...''
