That's my point. The LoN was a US invention, intended to ensure peace to the world, encouraging other nations to join, only to see the US itself not join. My point, countries should not rely on the US longterm, Zelenskyy is finding this out now.

Wilson's "14 points" was a fantastic idea and needed everyone to be on board.
The world at that time was still emerging from Imperialism while Socialism was gaining traction.
In order for the 14 Points to work, it fell on the U.S. to do the heavy lifting if it were to succeed.
