This is very worrisome. The Euro nations need to say that if any nuclear waste lands anywhere outside of Russia and any radiation is blown into their countries then they will respond as if Russia had deliberately dropped a nuke on them.
Russia tests nuclear-powered Burevestnik cruise missile, Vladimir Putin wants to deploy it
Trump tells Putin Russian missile test not 'appropriate'
Russia says the 9M730 Burevestnik "Storm Petrel" is "invincible" to current and future missile defences, with an almost unlimited range and unpredictable flight path.www.abc.net.au
Unpredictable flight path? No worries, he will likely bomb himself. This is very worrisome. I hope you are right but Putin always, so far, has managed to fund most of his military wants.
I can understand a nuclear-armed weapon, but how does a nuclear-powered missile work?Russia tests nuclear-powered Burevestnik cruise missile, Vladimir Putin wants to deploy it
I like this part:
"The Burevestnik missile is "invincible" to current and future missile defences, Russian generals say".
As a cruise missile, and rather large one, it will be detected by most current missile defences.
And onlystupidvery optimistic (intoxicated? drunk?) person can promise the invincibility of today's weapons to future systems.

Is there a little steam kettle inside to run a prop? Or, like the below link, air is compressed through heat from fission and forced out the backside like a jet?
Every sci-fi fan knows they're called "Orions".There was a US proposal to use a series of very small nuclear explosions to propel aircraft and missiles in the 60's and it has recently been discussed in the US to use this thrust system to propel spacecraft to Mars and other planets where they need to carry enough power to reduce velocity to enter orbit around the target planet. The discussions I heard on a podcast (not by choice - the passenger in front of me was playing it loud enough for me to hear whether I wanted to or not) said the system was well advanced before being shut down over 20 years ago but is again under active development. Podcasts unfortunately are like Wiki and AI - NOT reliable
And how are we supposed to do that? We do have some minor nuclear powers in the UK and France, but nothing compared to the arsenal that the USA and Russia have. Or our laughable military force that has been neglected over the last 30 years when we thought the USA will solve anything? And the USA will not support us at all in this I think. Putin only has to call the guy in the White House and he will swing to his side. This is very worrisome. No sympathy.
