When I was researching the fate of a B-29 Haley's Comet, I found out not a few testimonies by residents about how they, B-29 crews were treated after they hit the ground.

A 14-year-old girl witnessed a very young American crew was surrounded and being beaten by the many local residents. She wrote she was sorry for him though she was knowing she shouldn't be so.....
