No its a primer coat I slapped on so I can see if there are any surface problems.

It's a big beast to paint. A coat on the wing tops and the tail feathers.

Looks a bit purplish at the moment but hopefully that will disappear with more paint

It's big 80 feet but not as big as you think. I reckon the spindly fuselage creates an illusion. It guzzles up a lot of paint

Thanks I am using my big beast 3/4 inch brush on the wings. It gives a lovely smooth finish.

I have a cheap Chinese airbrush but it hardly ever gets used. Me and airbrushes don't get along. Give me a hairy stick any time.
