While French designers were producing such horrors. Gorgeous designs like the Dewoitine D500 and Latecoeres 300 were also being made. It seems French designers could do gorgeous and horrendous with nothing in between.

I am finding the all over chocolate brown a bit dull. I am thinking of doing the topsides in French kahki.

It is but just feels a bit bland. Perhaps I could add some bands of blue, white or yellow just to break up the monotony. It wouldn't be authentic from what I can see on Google but hey the French didn't go for uniform colour schemes like the RAF

I do like the color. Once you put the roundels on the wings and if you go with the fuselage stripes as shown on the box top, it will really pop.
