Finished off. I had terrible trouble with the transfers they were thin and brittle and not very well printed with some colours bleeding into the bordering colour. I tried to fit the fuselage stripes but once they were on any movement to get the alignment right tore them. So I found a pair of arrows in my stash and used them instead.
Thanks it was shall we say challenging.
Very much a mid sixties kit the transparencies were particularly bad they looked like they had been moulded by a one eyed man riding a runaway horse.
If I was going to build another I would throw away the transparencies, get some engines and propellers. I wouldn't paint it all over brown either.
Very nice work!
I built the same kit a while back but without your wonderful interior inprovements. Once it was painted I lost interest and never finished it. All that huge expanse of brown was too much for me
When the first example was built, the paint shop employee asked what colour it should be painted. The shop manager looked at it, and slowly replied "It looks like merde, paint it the same colour !"
