Do you mean Schräge Musik? Everyone on this site will be into that!I know that supposedly only 5% of Americans listen to Jazz. I'm hooked on 1960's-1950's jazz in particular, but also listen to everything jazz, including a lot of the very modern stuff. At the moment, my favorite is Bill Evan's Empathy . Two newer all-time favorites are Charlie Haden, Keith Jarret's 2010 Jasmine, and Ahmad Jamal's 2011 Blue Moon.
Jazz lovers, what's your favorite 50's/60's and current jazz?
Thumpalumpacus,
That's very cool.
I'm an Ed Bickert fan myself, but speaking of Joe Pass, do you have the Jazz/Concord album?
I found it about 10 years ago and have really enjoyed it ever sense.

Joe Pass did some great stuff with Ella Fitzgerald.
Speaking of Ella Fitzgerald, about 20 years ago I stumbled across this album, featuring the talents of Andre Previn.Joe Pass did some great stuff with Ella Fitzgerald.
I discovered Ed through an album that Paul Desmond put out called Like Someone in Love.I don't have that album, no.
I sure agree with you that Bickert is one hell of a musician -- good call on that.
