Are There Any Jazz Lovers Out There?

Chet Baker, Thelonious Monk, Tal Farlow, Chris Connor, Modern Jazz Quartet, June Christie, Stan Kenton, Blossom Dearie, Bill Evans... I could go on and on. Throw in some flamenco, too. Not the modern "flamenco", the classic stuff like Sabicas, Dolores Vargas, etc.

My brother likes boring stodgy classical music and calls modern interpretations by the likes of Walter Murphy and Waldo de los Ríos as !@#$%^& jazz crap. I prefer these versions because they make the boring stodgy stuff fun and enjoyable.
I do not know if the following can truly be classified jazz but I am enjoying this and several other tracks from Arthur Lyman and Martin Denny. I suspect they are more easy listening but their treatments of tunes are far too different for simple classification. The first track is definitely jazz but the second?
