Part 1:

5 pieces of Persian Carpets are shown at the entrance, these are dated between 1850 and 1940.

This one (above) is woven in Girls School in Tehran, by order of Muzaffar-e-dinn Shah of Qajar dynasty, on the year of 1319 of Arabic Calendar.

This one (above) depicting Mary and Jesus. Most of verses written around the carpet are unreadable, here is one that I was able to read:

این نداند اینکه اهل خاطرست
آفاق غایب و او حاضر است

Generally, it is some religious poem related to Mary and Jesus.

Interesting fact about this one is that it has a signature in Armenian, translates as "Woven 1908".

Part 2: Azerbaijani / Azeri Carpets

Some information and history about Azeri Carpets (above)

The verse written reads as:

Sarbana Bar Bogsha Ze Shotoran
Shahr -e Tabriz Ast O Kooye Delestan

ساربانا بار بگشا ز شتران
شهر تبریز است و کوی دلستان

O Caravan Master, Unload the Camels,
(Cuz) it's the City of Tabriz, House of beloved

This Carpet has some poems about Muzaffar-e-dinn Shah Qajar. The Verse under the animals reads as:

Dar Dowlat -e Shah Muzaffar-e-dinn
Begreft Zamaneh Rang O Aieen

در دولت شه مظفرالدین
زمانه بگرفت رنگ و آیین

At the days of Muzaffar-e-dinn Shah,
A new era has began.

And now ... Something very special ... And odd!!!
