I came across this forum while researching a P-47.
There seems to be a vast amount of historians here...So if I may ask for a little help.
I have been trying to figure out if...
"Burma Yank" A P-47D serial 227480 with the 89th FS 80th FG carried the squadron badge and name on both sides of the fuselage?
Using "Sky Models" decal sheet 48-039 it only has one of each?
But seeing others like it in modeling forums...some show the badge and nose art on both sides.
