Another mid century American. Passed driving test Dec 14 1959 in fathers ugly gold ' 57 Oldsmobile Super 88 J-2 2door Holiday Coupe. Was one of a string of gold Oldsmobiles that my kids as they grew up called Gramps pumpkin-mobiles

Warren, Michigan, sometime in 1959. "Nineteen-Sixty Cadillac 6339 four-window Sedan de Ville at the
GM Technical Center." This was a General Motors body style popularly known as the "flat top."
