In the same way an ordinary plough does. Not towing behind a tractor but pushing in front of that. Because of the shape of the mine plow mines are taken out of the ground and moved sideways , outside of tank tracks. The power of a possible mine explosion is diffused to the sides as well..

Just a question of which type of T-54 this is....T-54 Model 1951, T-54A Model 1951 or T-54B Model 1952, if it has the night fighting equipment....
I need to go back and look again....

I'm not sure about that fully. For sure these two 113 tanks are different ones. the one in the post #91 and #97 doesn't have the fuel barrels attached while the one in #87 has.

For what I can see and understand from the T-54/T-55/T-62 book, these looks like T-54 Model 1951's, which has been modernized with Luna and Gorizont/Tsiklon gun stabilization system, since they seem to have that counterweight at the end of the gun....or?
