This is a still from the BBC series Piece of Cake.
This quick sketch; I have some foam board for the bridge and the water would be tissue paper and white glue. The whole background is 8.5 x 11 and a base 4 inches deep would suffice. The part behind the bridge could be a photo of some local river (that I'd have to make it a getaway weekend with the Mrs.) I would do an early scheme of a Spit or Hurri before things became "too serious". This is by no means certain but... maybe... someday... on the workbench...
