One of their B-24s crashed close to my born town on Aug 29, 1944. I´d like to find some info on this aircraft but haven´t found much on the web...
Does anyone know any link to 454th BG?

I don't know of any, but web-birds.com is starting to show some signs of life again. I am hoping it comes back as that site was an awesome resource.

Thank you for the link Gary.
I´m looking for the B-24H-15-FO, ser. N° 42-52313. At the crash it was assigned at 454thBG, 737thBS, under the name 'Rough Cobb'.
I´ve found a pic of the machine with this ser N° , but assigned to another BG back then STINKY THE HOT ROCK
Not bad for a quick start...
