Just in case you want to start early I did have walk around shots of the P-38 Ruff stuff. They even had a ladder out there that I kind of borrowed for a few shots :)

wellcome robert to this your first GB and I hope that sea the priemro of many.
What good information you have put in the thread. I encourage and give the marge. Dong is one of the pilots of the PTO that I have followed along with PAPI'S

Ooouuu, I wish the Ronin PR Nose had been released! I have a P-38 kit and RAAF decals set aside to make Lightning F-4 A55-1, with the solid green uppers - when the Ronin nose arrives. I KNOW there is the Red Roo option, but having seen Steve's mastering work for other items, and spoken to him about this project, it will eclipse the old faithful Red Roo conversion.

BUT, looking forward to what you do with his P-38

Thanks! That picture is unreal, its almost like they blew a photo up and shellacked it onto the plane.

Robert,

This is exactly what they did. It was so many decades ago that I read the story that I couldn't begin to find the reference but Marge's photograph was indeed shellacked onto Bong's mount.
