Quick question. Just above the rudder trim tab there are two, I am guessing formation lights. What colour would these lights have been? The lights I am referring to are visible in post 130 of this thread.

Those are the hooded tail lamps Jeff. It's probable both were clear (white), but one of them may have been red.

Another update.
Biggest issue still to tackle is the remaining bomb bay doors. The cockpit canopy has been removed and sanded down to size so that it fits properly. It is just set in place for the pics and will be glued on after bomb bay doors are done. The fuselage will need to be upside down for the bomb bay work so it will help by not putting the canopy in place. Wings and tailplane will be attached after bomb bay work as well.
After that just a few more pieces like the astrodome, radio mast and trim tab actuating arms along with underwing light lenses and she will be just about done. Antenna wire, touch ups and a coat of dull coat as well.
