those vallejo paintings !!!, although I started painting with them when model air did not even exist, when here in Spain it was difficult and expensive the other brands, they say they are very good, although I have some to go painting and learning to paint with them, My way of painting does not conform and I spend more time removing the needle obstructions than painting, so I only use them to give flat colors as the basis for subsequent paintings on them.
of the plane to tell you that I know that nothing is practically nothing more than the generic of the plane, so I stay tuned to your assembly to learn how this mold is.
I spend a lot of time with all paints cleaning the needle so don't feel lonesome!

Photos are from F-15 in Detail and Scale, Bert Kinsey! The cockpit is coming along fine but a lot of fiddly bit painting. Not using an aftermarket kit as it looks pretty good on it's own. I'm still wrestling with seat belt issues but maybe I'll see a therapist for that. The IP is a bunch of LITTLE decals and you have to paint it then decal it. I've been working one at a time and letting it set in Micro Set and then after an hour or more working on the next.

Not a lot of PE in the kit but that, that is in the kit is nicely done. AB ring is one item.

F-15 uses the PW F-100 engine. the AB section is coated in ceramic and is white I shot it with Vallejo Model Air White and then I used a wash with Model Masters Metalizer Gunmetal!

The intakes are long and deep. On the real aircraft you can look down and as the sun is blocked it fades out. So I just shot the front of the intaked and let it spray as far back as it could and left the rest. with the engines installed it seemed to give me that look.

I'm not worried about the engines, they wont be seen so just the AB and intakes will get paint.

OK I think I've settled on my subject. Using SuperScale No. 48-1063 Aircraft is F-15C 79-0022 wing kings bird in April 2006. I have a set of photos taken in April 2006 at Kingsley Field, Klamath Falls Oregon. Also below is a web site to explain the MISIP II to anyone wishing to know.
