Thanks all, I had some fit issues with the intake ramps. The kit allows for the intake ramps to be up or down. In a static setting you don't see the intake ramps down. That is an engine running status and you would want some one in the seat for that. I am doing a static setting so I elected for the up position. The fit on the kit is very good but this was a very tight fit and the lower section of the ramps were a tight but good fit. The upper sections did not fit so well.
I also had a slight issue with the mating of the upper forward fuselage to the aft on the right side. that will be do big issue though.
I also got the vertical satbs on, It's starting to look like an Eagle.
I did one in these markings I had from superscale set but can't find them anymore, out of production. Print Scale just released them so if I can afford to get them in the next couple of weeks, It's the only F-15 I've ever seen showing it's teeth!

The F-15A was originally delivered in a blue grey called Air Superiority Blue, This did not last very long and the "Compass Ghost Grey" scheme (Light Ghost Grey, with Dark Ghost grey sections) was introduced and all F-15A, B, C, and D's were delivered in this until the advent of the "Mod Eagle" scheme (MSIP) in the mid 80's. All birds coming out of Mod Eagle used the same basic outline as the Compass Ghost Grey, but used a darker set of greys (USAF Aggressor Grey (lighter grey with Ocean Grey sections).
Thanks, but I said all that as I was going to do an update and ended up losing my train of thought. Just up and jumped the ol' track! I added the flaps and ailerons and the nose gear on.
This is a static view as an Eagle setting on the ramp. Ailerons droop and flaps up. I added some card stock in the intake gaps to fill them in.
Then I added my first coat of aggressor grey to the top and bottom, and than I DROPPED IT! Damn, I broke of the nose gear just below the oleo and lost the aft nose gear door. All fixable ( I have 20 some F-15 kits, think I can replace the door, just pisses me off. Anyway I'm not sure if I can get anything done today as it seems another front is coming through and I'm really starting to feel it.

I know how you feel - weather here is damp and depressing, and I haven't been able to do any more decals, due to stiff and painful wrists and arms.
Maybe if we extend the GB until June I might get the F-5E finished !!
Well thanks, damage is worse then I first thought and I may have to pull the nose gear and replace it from another it. Can do. First shots of the Ocean Grey upper coat. Love these Vallejo Model Air paints.
Getting down to the fiddly bits and finishing things up. Some pain in the a$$ issues as fare as broken things to fix as well. I should not have installed the canopy actuator, It was too delicate and broke off. May just drop the canopy and let it be. I won't glue it down as I may be able to fix it later. I maked off the aft section to shoot the stainless steel section at the engines.
