Thanks gents. Walked by the bench a couple of times today and I'm not happy with the silver. Too shiny so I may go over it with a different shade.

Andy, add a very small touch of gloss white to the silver - makes it look like the silver dope used at the time.

Sprayed a coat of Tamiya Flat Clear cut with a drop of white and am happier with the appearance now.

Thanks all. The disruptive light blue snake pattern has been started on the upper wing underside to see what it looks like. Hard to get true colours in these pictures but it's light blue on silver.

Thanks Karl, that's the plan. This was a one off scheme with not a lot of information. I did mask the outer fringes of the bands and laid down some white. Blue and red to follow so I should get some pics up within a day or so.
