I'm looking to do this. Note the ALQ-87 in the forward missile wells.

Pretty nifty looking "decals". Did decal "8" get straightened out?
No, going to try and slice it off and if I'm a really good boy and it comes off clean then I'll re aline it. If not. I'll steal from another set. I thought it was good until I had it done and the CA had set.

Thank you all.

I got my new model jig in today from Ukraine. For the most part somewhat straight forward. It was like one side got good deep cuts and the other side was only cut 3/4 of the way. had to do to cutting a filing and cussing to get it together but it all came out in the end.

Well I'm likening it. For the F-4 it looks like we will need to use it a bit backwards, figure most of the century series would be true.

Thanks, getting old and shaky so it's hard to color the lines. Brian Scott turned me on to a Gundam shot near me. I had know it was there but never went in as I don't do Gundam, but he said go for the paints. Well Golly Gee Sgt Carter......

Nice selection of Tamiya and they had extra thin.... Hobby Lobby quite selling it. They have both acrylic and lacquers

Ok so I', still working the cockpit area I installed the side console so as to make it easer to file them down.

then sanded them down and installed the aft bulkheads

While placing the aft IP (it slides on to the fuselage canopy lock) the bottom right half broke off. I've spent considerable time looking for it and I guess I'll just have to fabricate a replacement.

I took the GIB's IP from the second kit and clamped it to a piece of card stock and shot black primer on it to get my outline. and I shot the fuselage cockpits in black primer as well.

After looking for months on only finding it out of print and sold out everywhere I looked, I found it on Ebay and at Hannets. It cost me a wee to much but I'm getting what I wanted. Zotz decal 48046 F-4E in Vietnam 1968-1969. The last bird is the one photographed earlier on this thread and is 70-306 War Child.

In other news I've made progress on my IP panel.

After it fully sets up paint and add the Quinta studios decals and back to the gring.
