Can't comment on the first one but Laden Maiden is not a wartime photo, it's in fact one of the Catch-22 birds. That photo's from 1969 or 1970.I am going to say yes B-25J's had the green tinting done at the factory. Here are two good period colour photos of J's in service.

Thanks a bunch Glenn. I had to re-do the front galazings as I wasn't happy with the result. I will post some pictures of the canopy work when I get a chance.Looking good Dave
Question for you B-25 Experten. See picture below. I have noticed that on most restorations the front overhead window has a green tint while at least the period a/c don't seem to have this feature. Is this green tint on the window a restoration thing?
That is a tint on the forward top cockpit canopy for sure.
I think some that may not be happy with them are trying to remove the film too early. While the decal may look dry it's probably not. Trying to peel off the carrier while the decal hasn't firmly set will take the decal with the film. Leave them for a minimum of the recommended 12 hours and you should be fine. I decaled one night then came back the next day and removed the film no problems. Make sure you use a cotton bud to press the decals and place and roll it across the decal to get the air out. They will conform better this way. You have to do this because the carrier film is quite thick.Very cool. Just starting to read up on the new decals. Some aren't happy but most love them
