Thanks folks for your comments and encouragement.

Got a bit more done and I have a Blenheim shape now. The nose glazing was fiddly but manageable I won't be sure how good the joint is until I get some paint on it.

Fit of the completed nose to fuselage was not so good but I'm putting that down to me. There's a bit of filling required as you will see in the photos.

Anyway onwards and upwards thanks for looking, cheers Greg

Soooo, sorry for the lack of progress on this one. I have been trying to rekindle my youngest son interest in modelling so have been building a Airfix Short Stirling with him. It's finished now and I have returned to the Blenheim.

The engine assembly is a fiddly affair but as you will see from the photos I'm getting there.

I have been enjoying watching everyone else's progress in the GB, which has inspired me to get going again with this one.

Cheers and thanks for looking

And all above... Great work Greg
From my side, it's a waste of time: my 14 year old son has never been interested in scale models
if one of yours is interested in it, it's already a big victory
Hi and thanks for the kind comments. I tried getting all my kids in to models when they were younger and out of the three of them Conor has shown most interest. Part of that has to do with the Battlefield video game. We have finished 5 kits so far and he has even bought one with his own money!

Cheers Greg
