I have been very busy with the model since then infact to completion as of this evening!

To sum up all went pretty much straight forward, self masked the canopy with Tamiya tape (got some bleed through at the end -grr!- but cleaned with IPA and water ok). I used the spare kit Roundels for the SAAF version as basis for the overpainted markings.

Paint was Vallejo, Citadel and some awful stuff from Mission Models took 10 coats that blue did!

Transfers were applied using Micro Set and Micro Sol for the first time and I will be doing so forever now!

Last but one job was painting the eyes on the canons as shown in the photograph that fubar57 fubar57 very kindly sent to me.

Finally varnished with Citadel Varnish from a rattle can
