**** DONE: GB-55 1/72 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vc - MTO III

Thank you, yes it is rather speedy progress must say it is a fun build and like it's larger sibling that I built earlier in the month I have found it really easy to get into the zone with
 


To sum up all went pretty much straight forward, self masked the canopy with Tamiya tape (got some bleed through at the end -grr!- but cleaned with IPA and water ok). I used the spare kit Roundels for the SAAF version as basis for the overpainted markings.

Paint was Vallejo, Citadel and some awful stuff from Mission Models took 10 coats that blue did!

Transfers were applied using Micro Set and Micro Sol for the first time and I will be doing so forever now!

Last but one job was painting the eyes on the canons as shown in the photograph that fubar57 very kindly sent to me.

Finally varnished with Citadel Varnish from a rattle can
