Why the epoxy Don, did you have problems getting the two halves to stay together or do you want a strong enough body just in case it fall hard on it's maiden flight.

Epoxy is, in my opinion the best medium to mate large resin parts together with a life grip. SG's will hold but if something happens the causes a side force they will fail. Not so with epoxy. It was also better a filling gaps in my opinion. Lay it on a little thicker where there was a perceived gap and GAP BE GONE!
Update shots, wings on for test fit... Almost as good as the kit itself.
Horizontal and Vertical tail planes installed, Yes these are epoxied in place. A lot of cutting hacking and slashing and snarling of teeth and dragons breath here as the alignment slots were not cleaned out (oh my bad)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tamiya whit putty followed by Mr sufficer 500 and 1000 I love my glass files and I found some Really good sanding sticks on Amazon.
Using Hataka paints (red line acrylic for AB)
Shows up more work to do as cn be seen by the leading edge wing to fuselage lowere serface.
And the upper wing to fuselage mate.
All in all this is a pretty good resin conversion kit, well engineered to the Tamiya kit.
