Nice work so far. My 1:72 219 ended up with lead in the nacelles to keep it's butt off the ground !
Will see it will be one of the last things I do.

I'm going to paint each sub assembly separately this will make it easier to mottle. Then assemble .

Its the Dragon kit.
Cheers mate.
I have both in the stash myself, as I read there are some shape issues with the Dragon kit. The Revell is apparently more accurate in shape just 'old- Revell' detailing, so I figured I would just swap over the correct-shaped parts to the Dragon...

I'm curious what are those issues? I have 2 more dragon kits. I didn't come across this in my research. Cheers.

Myself included mate. Read that comment in a review years ago, but haven't compared plans etc yet. All I notice myself is the Dragon nose looks a little 'squarer' compared to photos I've seen, Revell's nose does look a bit rounder and nicer there.

Started on the rlm75 mottling, what do you think give me your honest feedback. Having just looked at the photo I have a little splatter around the edges. The photo picks up what my eyes don't see, bugger!

I'll play around with fine tuning the airbrush on the next attempt.

Clarifying my above comment, it would help to know what scheme you are doing. There may be photos of the actual plane available which might confirm mottle sizes and the accuracy of your instruction sheet in the background.
