First 2 pics show the nose gap from the panel inserts which was again filled with stretched sprue, you can see the fill in the last 2 pics from the previous post #39
The panel line sits less than a millimeter behind it.
Pic 3 shows the undercarriage box sections in place. In the instructions A80 and A82 numbers need to be switched with each other, the same goes for the other side too A88 and A90.
Pics 4 & 5 starboard lower and upper wing sections are fitted along with the leading edge slats, flaps and Ailerons too.
No, not what I am used to, but being careful it did go together pretty well.... the upper joint was filled with some stretched sprue, sanded and rescribed......easy peasy....actually.
Thanks Guys. On to some tail work with the Horizontal stabs and elevators..... the raised detail is a little overstated so removed the little discs from the visible upper surfaces. The Elevator halves have separate sections of the small trim tabs, once joined they leave a small gap which I have filled with some kit sprue.
this was then trimmed and carefully sanded to clean them up.....a tad more and will be sorted.
The tail wheel panel has also been carefully fitted too in the last pic.
