absolutely, didn't need to make it that awkward.....
first 3 pics show the addition of some more stretched sprue between the forward wing join and lower cowl, the intake was not fixed at that point to make it a little easier to fit and sand and rescribe the panel line.
last 2 pics the 2 lower panels added
Definitely not a perfect kit, but its an easy fix when you work through it... as I get the first ready for some paint, the second gets moving, the cockpit and tail wheel section for the wheel added , not shown in the first build....
Also added some of the Hasegawa IP decals over the Revell too....

Cockpit now installed and fuselage closed up. 5th image down shows some red where a fair bit of scraping and sanding occurred to reduce the interference fit of the upper cowl. Best thing is to remove most of it but I didn't want to weaken the fuselage structure, although a couple of bracing sections of plasticard or sprue would solve that as an alternative.
Cowl guns drilled, installed and upper cowl section in place too.
