Thanks for checking in guys and the kind words. Running a bit slow on this at the moment. lots going on. Got the Giallo Mimetico 3 (or as close as I could get) on this morning, I used SMS PL130 (German Yellow Sand), so now were all spotty.

Tried to add the little reddish dots this arvo but it been so hot and with the air pressure being so low, the paint is just drying up in the nozzle, so have given that up for the day. Cooler tomorrow so will give it another go.

Thanks gents. When I did those spots I was having a big problem with the airbrush blocking and I was not totally satisfied with these dots, so I started again with a fresh coat of green (SMS PL78 Foliage Green), but again had problems with the airbrush but this time with the little piston not shutting down, consequently even though I'd removed my finger from the push button, the brush continued spraying. Checking the airbrush parts I decided an investment into a new piston and piston o-ring may solve the problem. These duly arrived today and I was quickly back to the spraying.

The new Giallo Mermetico 3 spots (I used SMS PL130 German Yellow Sand RAL 7028).

Next came the Marrone Mimetico 2 spots (I used SMS PL125 German Red Brown RAL8010).

Then it was time for de-masking and a general over spray of flat clear.

Many thanks folks for the your great comments. I gave the model a bit of a spray with SMS PL10 Flat Clear and then after a while the PL09 Gloss Clear which I applied a number of times over the day. This forms a base for the next coat of PL58 High Gloss Clear. A couple of coats of this and we were ready for a bit of decalling, and the results as below.

Not much on this one so it was accomplished in very short time. Another quick spray tomorrow and then onto some weathering.
