I've been working on the wing to boom glue joints over the last couple of days. They all needed quite a bit of fileing and filling with CA, and then a lot of wet sanding. A lot of the panel lines and duz fasteners were wiped out so had to be replaced. I used my smallest drill bit in a pin vice to replace and deepen all the duz fasteners. It has been sanded down through 800 grit and I still will hit it with 1500.

 
Started late looking over your build here Glenn. I'm liking it. Love your use of weights and measure's and boy your use of clamps

Oh a ps D&S and what ever else I've seen always call for a NMF gear well.

Just another input. That's what I'm going with.
 
I was not happy with the center section canopy so pulled it apart and re-set it, and masked. Then I wet sanded everything with 1000 grit and sprayed on the OD anti-glare, and white flowed by red on the tips of the tail fins and spinners. All Testors square bottle enamel.
Will start masking off for the silver next.
