Airfix ( Hornby ) comes through. Got my replacement canopy the other day. Finished the painting. The Alclad is fantastic stuff though I don't think I used it most effectively. I highlighted a few panels with the darker Alclad and some with AK Chrome silver. Next is the decals and tons and tons of tiny stencils.

Decal mania ! I'm sure I have spent more time with tweezers and a tooth pick placing all these little stencils every where. The instructions are not very clear as to what ones apply to each version. Not only but there are a ton left over not mentioned in the instructions. Landing gear is assembled. It's very flimsy and finicky to assemble.I used the wing as a jig to make sure all the contact points line up when you glue it into the wing. Again, something that's not clear in the instructions. Other wise it's down to a final coat of paint. Clear vrs. matte. I painted the landing gear doors with clear and it looks like the way to go.
