I have a friend whom has a ton of 352nd FG info and found me a pics of Heyer's Mustang with out D--day stripes . Alos note no single white stripes just olive drab over neutral and blue nose. Everybody does invasion stripes . I like to always find something different to do .
Got the basic airframe color painted . Little touch up to do on top side then i can mask off and paint the blue on the nose . This has to be one of the craziest demarction line for a WW2 fighter
Spent the day spraying Olive drab touch up . Masked off and sprayed the blue on the nose this afternoon. I used my own Tamiya ratio mix . Next to mask off wheel wells and spray Tamiya LP-11 silver. Then i can start spraying clear gloss .
