Engines are glued up to the wings. Disappointing for an Airfix kit to have that bad of a fit issue. I'm just about ready to put some paint on it but first the nose weight. Kit calls for five grams, I bumped it up a bit to be on the safe side.

Well here we go. Paint problems. I got the splinter camo all done up and when I removed the masking tape the paint lifted everywhere. So I cleaned off all the paint which made the panel lines visible again. I didn't feel like mudding it up and sanding it all down again so I went with it. Then for some reason I sprayed it with RLM 81 and Rlm 73 ? Then it was re mask it and paint it with 81/82. I have no idea what I'm doing, RLM 73 ? and paint lifting though I may have neglected to wipe it down with alcohol. Had a pretty big curve ball thrown at me a few months ago, I think it scrambled my brain a bit ! Anyways here's some progress pics.
