I orderd a Quickboost P-36 engine, I don't like the one of the kit...

PS. IIRC there weren't any engraved panel lines of the stabilizers and the fin. The plate strips of the metal skin were reiveted overlap.

Argh ! I use the drawings from Wings of Pegasus, here (drawings) and here (H75) . His plans are usually given as a reference.

Yes I know them. These are correct but it is quite difficult to show the overlaping using a 2D paper sheet. What is more it looks like each strip had the front edge pressed and shaped in order to allow the back edge of the following strip to sit without any step. But it is quite difficult to notice it in most of the tail images. As a result the shallow panel lines could be.

I've been a sheet metal man for over 40 years and have never heard that term. The things you learn here.

That's the good thing about having a living language to communicate with: one word has countless terms, and expressions can be very extensive, especially if you write as you speak in your native language, which may have expressions that are not used elsewhere. Surely in your country there are differences between states, or provinces or even regions (depending on how it's regulated; here we are autonomous communities, a confederated state but without calling it that).

Here in Spain, a silky joint is used for a joint between two panels that is completely uniform without any relief.

I cut out the ailerons and worked them with plastic rods and putty

Next step: work on the horizontal stabilisers
