Hello again my fellow modellers:
Once again with a lot of work and several travels all around but still wanting to complete the project I currently have on the workbench.
First, I wanted to begin completing the fuselage with the main subassemblies. First the cabin glued with the main fuselage was the next step as can be appreciated on the following image. Where also it was dry tested the access panel and the stand C or belly firing gun. The fit of both pieces are excellent and almost require no more work on them.
In parallel I´m thinking the type of acrylic base will be presented in order to show the plane as if it is dropping one torpedo......
Another thing I notice regarding the clear part at the frontal lower side of the cockpit is that it needs more detail cause it looks almost deserted. It has no bombsight and that was corrected as can be appreciated in the following images. But first the finished wings (with ailerons and wing tips) were glued with the engine cowling and detailed with more rivets after the sanding works:

Then it was decided to emulate more detail with the frontal MG 151/20 of the A stand with some ammo belts which were printed also.....
Then as commented before, the MG 151/20 needed some detail. In the following image it can be appreciated the cannon with the structure used to fire this gun as you get it from the box (left) and how this new handle looks now in the right. It makes sense that a gun handle like this was needed in a cramped cockpit as in this kite.....
Also the ammunition box and feeder was located in the front. The view sight of the aimer/copilot was checked in order that this little guy had a good view in front of him:
The following step was to locate the cartridge chute of this weapon. The piece provided in the box is too cumbersome to install it on this cramped cockpit, so I made one with silly putty as can be appreciated in the following images.
Where in the left image in green is highlighted (clockwise) the ammo box, then the mirror of the bomb sight and finally the ammo chute.....
This is how the ammo chute advance looked like as it was being shaped in order to avoid restricting the view of the bomber view..... also the lower clear part was painted in RLM 02 in its interior surface to bond with the rest of the cockpit.... and to avoid peeking the mistakes done so far
......
Obviously, the main cockpit clear part was dry fitted quite some times in order to achieve the desired position of the subassemblies... It will be a close fit indeed but it is achievable.....
Now it's time to finish the bomber oxygen mask and goggles in order to proceed with the detailing of the main frontal clear parts.....
And now this is how the cockpit looks like before continuing with the frontal clear parts, antennas and main console (with also a radar scope) found also visible in this already cramped little space....
Hope you have a great weekend and see you soon my friends.
