    Interesting videos VB.
It's amazing there weren't more fatalities while we were learning to fly.

Have to admit that the guy with the rockets on his back who set his rump on fire was a bit funny.

I wonder what the theory was behind the guy with the barrel-looking attachment?

If you get the DVD of 'Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines' not only do you get a classic movie, but those clips are all shown in the openeing titles too :)

I wonder if that immediate post WW1 movie (circa 1920 I think), "Hell's Angels" is availbale anywhere on DVD or video. That's a real classic, with some superb flying, and at least one fatality during filming. Some sequences of 'Waldo Pepper' were based around the making of it I believe.

It is, I either bought it off of amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com a few years back. Loved the movie,

Thanks mate, I'll check it out! First time I saw it I think I was about 12 years old, round about the time Moses had just been promoted to Corporal! Must have made an impression, as I can still remember some of the action, with real WW1 aircraft too!
