Yeah, read this already (with the help of Translate), but it doesn't help with explaining how effective it was in aircraft detection. The Brits tried experimenting with sound mirrors before the war, but they didn't work that well in accurately estimating range and number of aircraft, another problem was residue noise from the surrounds around the mirrors interfered with determining measurements. Luckily the boffins had radar on the way and the sound mirrors were put out to pasture.

That's the T-60 soviet light tank ( the German name - PzKpfw T-60 743(r) ) with 20 mm main gun and a 7.62 DT machine gun . Additionally , with mixed road wheels and the turret turned back. A such one is exhibited in Kubinka Tank Museum ...
