This is the soviet aerosani NKL-16/37, a sanitary version NKL-16S. So the cross is red as the caption states that. Whether the vehicle was captured or not, the cross doesn't indicate to whom it belonged to. Also it might be the soviet Red Cross. Usually , Germans applied the Balkenkreuz of the same shape as the Luftwaffe one on the fuselage sides and at the front of the vehicle "nose". Finns applied their swastiks there for instance. However those used as the sanitary aerosledges could have the "Red Cross" marking left.
